I was really impressed with the "image" of TechHosting so signed up. Their support is so far a load of nonsense.
The "live chat" sends your live message via email for evaluation and possibly a response. The email support offers a ticket number but not a solution or follow up.
Some signup offers, such as "free domain privacy", are a load of lies. Their "support center" claims "domain privacy guard is already active" even though every whois lookup shows all the personal info I do not want so freely available. A request for login information so I can activate domain privacy has gone unanswered by any human.
I have read some of the BBB reviews about Globat and think maybe I have chosen the wrong company - TechHosting have their own shortcomings as well as the shortcomings of Globat, who they are resellers for.
