BEWARE SCAM ALERT!! I received a call in June 2011 from someone who identified themselves as being my supplier for fax machine toner. “Mike” informed me that the toner we normally buy had a rate increase from $798 to $899, but he was able to get his manager to approve the “old price.” Being a new employee and not thinking about the obvious cost of toner in the real world being on average $125 I purchased. The toner arrived with an invoice for $897 ($100 for shipping). IDCSERVCO who handled the transaction on behalf of Supply Processing Center told me they would price match, but immediately agreed to pick up the product when I told them I found the toner for $125. I felt so stupid for falling for this scam and the sales person’s tricks, but I guess you learn the hard way.
