After spending 30 minutes waiting to speak with a customer representative about not being able to update my payment information, which I consider an excessive amount of time to wait to speak with someone on the phone, he was unable to assist me. He said that I needed to resolve the issue with my credit card company and that there was nothing he could do. I informed him that I had just done that right before contacting Square Enix, but he insisted that it was the credit card company's fault. He said thank you for calling and have a nice day sir and he hung up in my face while I was attempting to ask another question. This is completely unacceptable. This is one of the worst customer service experiences that I have ever had. I love the Final Fantasy series, but I am seriously considering not giving this company my business any more after this very poor experience which could have been handled much better.
