Date Purchased: Oct-31st, 2009.
I bought a laptop from a "Liquidation Sale" that was rented out of a store front in my towns mall. I paid $250. When I brought the computer home, none of the keys match up....(symbol keys DO NOT match what is printed on the keys) there is no sound, or no drivers for the sound...The battery is dead (not a HUGE issue, I can work with that)
I went back a week later, and the man that sold the laptops was ALREADY gone.
I was given a hard time by the other "vendors" laughing at me while I held my 2 year old saying "Oh, she's trying to be tough"
They told me I had a 30 day warranty, yet when I call...they refuse to refund my money....and if I want HELP, they want me to pay shipping both ways...for a computer that was NOT what they sold me.
They BOLD FACE LIED to me.
There have been more than 5 complaints in my town of them selling broken electronics or laptops....
The police dept. AND the mall office have followed up on this situation. They are not allowed to do business any longer at my mall. EVER.
The mall security commented that they tend to move town to town ripping people off. If you call their number its people with broken english, not really knowing what they are talking about. NOT UNTIL they had police and mall office/owners calling them did they return my calls. And STILL did not offer to refund my money. It is a foreign computer...
The OWNER of the company called me and told me he would "email me drivers" for the audio....within 20 mins. That was last week.
Still have not heard anything.
I blew $250 on a laptop for my daughters...as a christmas present.
I am SO infuriated with this company.
It's a scam.
If you look at other reviews there are people who have complained, who have spent $600 ON LAPTOPS...and called because it wouldn't work. They wouldnt NOT return his calls, and when they finally did they told him "The battery in our office phone is not working, we will call you back." And he never heard from them again.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.
