Premier Properties and OC Rentals is running a real estate scam.
This is how the scam works:
There are several employees working at Premier Properties and OC
Rentals. When you arrive, they ask you to write down three places you
would like to live and then someone goes to a computer and accesses
SoCalMLS and picks random locations based on your preference. They will
tell you that these houses are clients, but that is false. Any realtor
with access to SoCalMLS can search these locations. In fact, Premier
Properties and OC Rentals has no connection whatsoever to the owners of
the properties.
You are enticed with extremely low prices, but it's only to get you to
pay $180.00, which is their entire "business model." A simple whois
search will show you that the domain premierocrentals.com was purchased
under the alias Ray Thor with the e-mail address happybudda21@yahoo.com.
(Buddha of course, being spelled incorrectly.)
A more meaningful search might take place at http://kepler.sos.ca.gov/,
a section on the CA Secretary of State's website for searching business
entities. This will provide you with the name Raymond Cid; This may be a
more definitive name -- or at least alias.
Their UPS store PO Box is located in Diamond Bar and this is the place
they told us to send some paperwork to get our refund when we complained
on the day following me and my wife's visit. A search on google for the
name Raymond Cid and Diamond Bar will give you some links where you can
view acquaintances of Mr. Cid. One being Dora Blocker, the name listed
on the BBB's website, who's last name may in fact be Munoz and a host of
other aliases. A Raymond M Cid also owns a property at 1236 Diamond Bar
Blvd. The 'M' may stand for Munoz, but it's speculation; All of the
employees work under aliases it seems.
They are also connected to a different company called LA HABRA
A.T.C. RENTALS, INC. which ran the same scam apparently and was formed
under the name EVERETT EDWARD KNUTH.
