This "business" is a total scam!! .. Do not go there!! .. My sister and I went there in hopes of finding a home for us to rent. They seemed very professional at first. However, if you really take the time to analyze what they claim and what they present, its obvious that they are running a scam. They charge a "service Fee" of $180.00 which is used to run a credit report and other things. They claim that $90 of it will be refundable after 90 days. They also tell you that if they do find you a home, those 90 dollars will go towards your first months rent or security deposit. I paid the $180.00 and they gave me a contract to sign. Here's where they get you!! .. Please read contracts in any situation before signing them!!.. The contract clearly states that none of that money will go towards rent or a security deposit. It has a small paragraph about 4 sentences of what services they offer.. which is just to run your credit and inform you of houses that are for lease. It also says that anything that was discussed verbally but was not specified in the contract is void!!! .. so everything they "promise" goes out the door when you sign the contract .. including the claim that they are affiliated with these houses and the owners or realtors!! .. This is why the authorities have not been able to do anything about them!!! .. Anyways, I signed the contract and went home to do some research. Of course, it didn't take long to figure out that they were a scam. I felt sick to my stomach. I couldn't even sleep that night. My boyfriend and I went back the next morning. We were the first ones there. The look on their face when they saw me was priceless!! .. They knew what I was there for. They were trying to do anything they could to keep me away from the person who had lured me into the scam. However, I ran to his office and demanded to speak with him. There was other "clients" in his office so of course he agreed to speak with me. We went to a separate room and I told him that I wanted my money back. He said that it would be ok and gave me some forms to fill out. I refused to do that. I told them that I knew what they were going to try to do. They claim that you have to send a refund request to an office in diamond bar.. the address is nothing but a p.o. box number. I told them that I knew that it was merely an address to a P.o. Box. They were surprised to hear that I knew that. I proceeded to tell them that I am a law student and that although I did not have my law degree yet, I had many collegues that were more than happy to take them to court. I also told them that I was aware that they all work under alias names and that most of them have already been convicted of fraud before and are under probation. I told them I was aware of the 30 plus complaints they had with the BBB. What really got them is when I told them that I knew that they were being investigated and a case was being built against them to take them to court and that I would go to the authorities and only contribute to this law suit. What I found interesting is that THEY NEVER DENIED IT!! They never tried to tell me that they were not running a scam!! .. They agreed to give me my money back however they kept saying that they had no cash so they had to give me my refund by check or money order. I refused to leave without my money and demanded that they give me cash. They had all sorts of excuses as to why they could not give me my money in cash. I told them that I would not accept anything other than cash and that I would not leave until I got my money. They knew I was serious and after an hour of arguing... I GOT MY MONEY BACK IN CASH!!!...
If you fall for their scam.. go in there and demand your money back!! and don't leave without it!! ... Let them know that you know all about their scam and know all the tricks they are going to try play on you. Keep firm and be strong. The people in there are extremely rude and mean. Don't let it get to you!! I got my money back and so can you!! ..
One more thing.. these good reviews on here is just them trying to cover it up.
