We thought Performance Debt Resolution services were good. The best way out of debt however, is to obviously pay more towards your minimums moving low to high like Dave Ramsey promotes to do this yourself.
The trouble we had is that we used our credit cards to pay for a lot when my wife lost her job. Fortunately we were able to recover, but racked up quite a bit on credit cards. The problem was we couldn't even afford minimum payments anymore, and when we missed one, our interest rate jumped to 30%. Performance Debt was honest about how their program works and they communicated with us very well. They use Herbert Davis's Law Firm in California who was also very good. We live debt free now. hope this helps, i would recommend them. -Roger
