First let me start by saying for 8 years I've been going to this Vet Nova Animal Hospital in Davie Florida.
For the last 6 months they have been treating him with a special diet and monitoring him to see if the diet was helping to break down the bladder stones they discovered.
April 30th 2009 8:30 AM, Called the receptionist telling them that my dog was crying in pain and needed to be seen ASAP. They told me the earliest I can come in was at 2! So I said OK FINE. I show up at 2 and the Doctor tells me that there is nothing they can do NOW for him but they can help him until tomorrow or Monday. So I looked at the doctor GRAY and said "so your telling me you can not do anything right now to help my dog and he STATED NO". So I walked out very upset and went to an other very nice animal hospital who truly cares about animals. THANK GOD!
After going to the NEW animal hospital. I find out that my dog is loaded with more bladder stones, one large stone was stuck in the neck of his bladder, and another large stone was stuck in his penis track. The doctor was very surprised at the way my OLD vet treated the situation because he said it the most dangerous thing was to have that stone stuck in the neck of his bladder.
The new animal hospital also found that my dog is DIABETIC, and ALSO has CUSHINGS DISEASE. My bill for taking him to this new vet was 4125.00. I feel if my old vet would of done their job like caring for animals and not worrying about how much money they can get out of people is disgusting, they don't care about animals they care about the money. They just sent me a bill for the April 30th visit for 65.00. NICE!
Tell me, after going to the same vet for 8 years how can they not have found all these other problems with my pet? How can a Doctor see a dog in pain crying and tell me he cant do nothing for him? What a passionate guy you are DR GRAY. If you love your pet like I love my pet please take my advice and do not go to this place.
