I got my brakes done here, got a good price, so I came back to get my rack and pinion replaced, also at a good price. After the rnp was installed they could not get the alignment right. I took it to another reputable alignment shop and it was still pulling right. I went back to the owner, Joseph, of what is now Meineke at 5500 Van Buren and told him something else is wrong if two places align it and there still is pulling to the right. He, the owner Joseph, started going off on me about how I must think he is a foreigner and I should take back to the white boys at the other shop.... I just can't believe an owner of an auto repair shop would try to cover up the lack of mechanical skills with racial slurs. Common sense dictates that if your customer has a problem you figure it out and resolve the issue. What ever you do don't make up non-existing issues to cover your short comings.
I took my Camaro back to the other shop so they could confirm the rnp was bad and I could have Meineke charged back on my credit card, since I didn't want to do business any more with someone that has the serious issues as does Joseph. Well they saved him the charge back by manually making the alignment adjustments.
I would expect from any place with which I do business that I would not have to have their personal issues spilled out on me and to be accused of something that is of no point to the business at hand. Further more if I were a racist why would I be doing repeat business with this place. This guy really needs to get a clue about customer service.
I would give this place no stars if that where an option.
