I moved to Durango from Colorado Springs 9 years ago. I had always taken my truck to grease monkey there, and had a great relationship with the owner and workers, they did fantastic work there. Here at this jiffy lube going every 3000 miles for 9 years, I always had to reset the change oil light myself. Bad enough, poor attention to detail. This summer I had my full service and 2 weeks later my transfer case blew up, totally out of oil, 250 miles from Durango, every 3rd or 4th change they mentioned a slight seep in it, not this time of course. $1,600 repair and 2 nights in a Buena Vista Hotel. I told them about it, they declined to reimburse anything. The mechanic who repaired it said the main seals were intact, and assured me nearly impossible for 3 quarts to leak out in 2 weeks. Today, having lost my trust in Jiffy lube, I was serviced today at Built To Last Auto, the mechanic told me, " it appeared than none, and he stressed NONE of the front end lube points (14 fittings) appeared to have been serviced (aka Lubed), in years." Now I need to have 2 inner tie rod ends and an inner ball joint replaced due to lack of lubrication and excessive play to the tune of $772.77! I do not recommend Durango Jiffy lube to anyone at all, the are careless, irresponsible, and have absolutely no attention to detail. The fact that I had to reset the dang change oil light was inconvenient, the fact that parts they claimed to be servicing were not being serviced is criminal. My next comments will be to the BBB. STAY AWAY FROM DURANGO JIFFY LUBE, they are FAIL!
