I've had a recent support incident with InMotion Hosting. I was happily surprised to have my problem taken care of not in hours, but minutes. Through a the 24hour support chat, I was able to contact the company immediately. The customer rep was very friendly, knowledgeable and fast. With my old hosting company this problem would have taken up to several days to resolve, and I cannot accept that kind of downtime.
Several years back, I transfered my domain from a small hosting company to InMotion for reliability and data redundancy. Not only has their hosting been better than I had hoped, their service is superior (my site transfer was an automated breeze) . Initially, I was unsure of transferring from a small hosting company, as I thought that personally knowing the host would be a great thing. However, InMotion has provided me with far superior service, rates, and plan options than I have found anywhere.
I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for hosting, from an individual to larger companies.
