The sales rep demonstrated the curling iron on my three year old child. While telling me that the curling iron does not burn the skin, she proceeded to burn my daughters scalp. My daughter received a third degree burn on her scalp, and now has a permanent scar on her head where the hair has completely fallen out and will not grow any longer. This scar is about one inch in length and a half inch in width; pretty significant! The sales rep not only refused to refund me my money, but proceeded to insist that she did nothing wrong. After my encounter with this company I contacted the owner, he never returned my call. I checked out their website and it even states on their website that you must wear a glove or the product will burn your skin. I have not received an apology from this company who has permanently scarred my child for life. Not only that, but they continue to sell the product as "it will not burn the skin."
