I would like to write a review for Beagles and Buddies (B&B), a no kill dog sanctuary in El Monte, California. I have adopted two dachshunds from B&B. One had been abused and is paraplegic as a result. However, B&B still took the dog in, knowing they may be responsible for her health care for the rest of her life. She has gone on to become a therapy dog and has increased the quality of life for both children and adults in many different environments, including hospitals, assisted living facilities and classrooms. I often travel for work and board my dogs at B&B, knowing they will have trips to the groomers, socialize with others and feel comfortable in a nurturing environment while I am gone. With the economic crises we are all feeling, I want to support non-profit organizations such as B&B that make a difference in the lives of both animals and humans.
