Review 2/2/2010

I got a macbook pro with logic studio for 3600 dollars in November of 2008. The computer is 13 months old. I bought it to record music mainly. My windows desktop that is 7 years old out performs and is more stable than this overly expensive paper weight. I have had continuous problems with it crashing. I don't use it, because I can't trust it. I sent the mac to the apple store and was charged 300 dollars to fix it. (I was asked why I didn't have an extended warranty; I replied, I thought apple was a good product.) I just got back from my 2 hour drive to pick it up. I started the computer, changed the graphics to better performance and rebooted. I had to reboot 3 times before it would start up; with a 2 page screen of kernel errors. This computer is stored in a protected case when not in use, is never moved while it is on, and is updated on a regular basis. Alas, the apple is rotten. I called tech support and they said I could send it back to them to get repaired. I told them I would prefer a refund since I don't ever in my life want to see another apple logo. Of course, it's no can do. I'm sorry your not happy and our computers suck. I was thinking of selling it on ebay when it comes back; but I won't do that. I couldn't sell a product I didn't believe in (unlike Mr. Jobbs).
