1800 Engines does not perform according to their contract!!!! I took my car in March because of a problem I was having with the engine they worked on back in August. However, they kept stalling and did not accept my car until April and of course by then I had went over approximately 1000 miles so now the warranty had expired. If they would have accepted the car when I first took it in, then it would still be under warranty. I was told a price to repair it and now I am being charged 3 times as much. MAKE SURE WHEN YOU TAKE YOUR CAR IN AND IF THEY DON'T WANT TO WORK ON YOUR CAR, GET IT IN WRITING THAT YOU ATTEMPTING TO LEAVE YOUR CAR SO LATER ON THEY WON'T TRY TO TAKE YOUR MONEY LIKE THEY ARE TRYING TO DO WITH ME. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SHOP TO NO ONE. I HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT BAD EXPERIENCE WITH THEM.

Unfortunately, I did not do my research, but if you check with BBB you will find that they have had 13 complaints filed against them.
They have only been in business for 2 yrs.

Well I went to pick up my car 4/26/11 and was told that the mechanic had lost my fuel injector so they needed to order the part. Now I have to wait til 4/27/11.

4/27/11 I am still being charged $650 + tax because the warranty had expired. They are not willing to come to an agreement. Basically, I don't get my car unless I pay them. The manager is a hard person to talk to & does not want to hear details. And again surprisingly the car is not ready because now there is a vacuum leak, so I need to wait another day!!!

4/28/11- went to pick up my car. Owner was willing to accept 1/2 of what he was asking for with only 30 day warranty. If I paid full balance it would still be 30 day warranty so why pay the entire balance. Anyways, as we were driving off, a few exits down the car made a loud cracking noise so there we go taking the car back to 1800 engines. 3 MECHANICS CHECKED THE CAR RIGHT AWAY AND NEITHER ONE WAS ABLE TO FIGURE OUT WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS. THEY HAD TO KEEP MY CAR AGAIN. I BASICALLY HAD MY CAR FOR ABOUT 10 MINUTES AFTER HAVING IT DROPPED OFF 3 WEEKS AGO.. I am hoping they don't come out with something else that I have to pay for!!!!!

4/30/11.. Okay 1800 engines has not called back to give update on my car. So I decided to call them. They had no idea what was wrong with the car. First they thought it was the transmission, then something else. They are stilling trying to diagnose the problem. It will be almost a month that I dropped off my car and I still have not been able to pick it up!!!!! I DON'T THINK THEY HAVE ANY EXPERIENCE WITH ENGINES!!!!!
